milano fashion

so most of you probably know that along with new york and paris - milan is another one of the international fashion hubs...designers show their collections here, as well as have flagship stores here.....there is a lot of up and coming fashion to be found in the stores and in the streets...since i have the luxury of being here (and you do not), let me show you a few of the things i have seen in case you are trying to really get up on the forefront of fashion before it comes to city near you:

exhibit a: the dumpy pants..i havent been able to find these anywhere so i am thinking about making some when i get home....i know this style is going to be a hit...its only a question of 'when?'



exhibit b: the mickey mouse patch jeans....finally - its time for disney characters to cross over from childrens wear into mainstream fashion. i have been waiting for this. so has my dad.



exhibit c: remember when it was cool for girls to have their thongs peeking out of their pants?? well its time for the bra's time in the spotlight. its especially good looking if it is only being held together by ONE clasp - instead of the standard 3.



exhibit 4: ahh...finally. my personal favorite. the 'dress shirts but nothing else' look. it has quite the impact when worn in pairs, dont you think???
